Omega Onion Computing Module

This is an image of a few prototypes that I made using clever cable hacking, soldering and the Omega Onion platform.

Parts:
Omega Onion
Omega Breakout Board
Omega mini
Lipo Batteries (500mah and 1000mah)
Hacked USB cables.

Special note: I found some DIY USB connectors on Adafruit's website for $0.95!!! Worth every penny if you're hacking cables to make your project work!

Omega Onion micro-computing Module Design

This is my design for a portable computing platform using the Omega Onion   as https://omega.io the IoT of choice.
This particular design was used for the rechargeable Arc Reactor Bracelet design in an earlier post.
Future plans include reducing the size by 20-30% and optimizing the power consumption.
With a 500mah lipo battery, this module will run for approximately 8+ hours on a full charge. (I actually recorded ~10 hours on the default OS build!)
The bracelet uses 5 Adafruit DotStar LEDs running two colors each at 50% brightness for 1:41:52 (almost two hours).
Again without software optimization for power usage.
