This release of Project X works with the new Zune 3.0 firmware update.
Here's what I have so far:
1. Pixel Level Collision Detection
2. Sprite Rotation

Ok...I found my problem. It turns out that the XNA Game Studio Express (CTP) doesn't work. In order to use the Zune 3.0 firmware, it must be used with XNA GSE (Beta) which can be downloaded here: XNA Game Studio Express (Beta)
Also, the conversion from CTP to Beta must be performed manually. Directions to do this can be found here: http://creators.xna.com/en-us/XNAGS3BetaReadMe
Updates to Project X coming soon ;)
Well, I did what I don't usually do. Upgraded the firmware on my Zune before refering to the forums and you guessed it, XNA GSE doesn't work. Good news though, It appears that we will be allowed to deploy games to the zune without manual deployment...Just upload the game and go.
I'll keep you posted as the updates come out.

I don't know why my videos suck, but hopefully you can make out what's going on. I have increased the sensitivity of the collision between the "shooter" and the "enemy" down to "pixel-resolution". I have also added navigation at the top left of the screen.

Ok... It's been a couple of weeks. I had a couple of hours to test a "proof of concept" on the targeting and collision detection of the game. Here's what I have so far.
